All outpatient clinics throughout the VA Maryland Health Care System are open today (Monday, February 8, 2010) with parking available at each location. Parking at the Pocomoke City VA Outpatient Clinic is currently limited to street parking only until further notice. Veteran patients who are not able to make it in for their scheduled appointment should contact the Appointment Call Center to cancel and reschedule their clinic appointment. The Appointment Call Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 1-800-463-6295, ext. 7333. For your safety, please note that many secondary roads are still covered with snow or ice, so we encourage Veteran patients to stay home and call the Appointment Call Center to cancel and reschedule their clinic appointment if they have any concerns about driving or walking. Veterans who need medical advice or have questions about their medications can call the VA Maryland Health Care System’s Telephone Care Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by dialing 1-800-865-2441.
