Veterans Invited to Open House & Town Hall at Perry Point VAMC

Veteran talking to Town Hall representative

The VA Maryland Health Care System, in partnership with the Baltimore VA Regional Office (VBA), will host an Open House & Town Hall on Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Perry Point VA Medical Center (Recreation, Building 314-Gymnasium and Theater), located in Perry Point, Maryland.

The one-hour Town Hall will begin at 4:30 p.m. After brief presentations by Maryland’s top VA leadership, veterans in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions, make comments, and share feedback about their experience with the VA.

At any time throughout the event, veterans can also visit with VA representatives who will be available to provide information on VA health care services and programs, answer questions, and assist veterans in completing applications for VA health care and VA compensation benefits.

Veterans interested in applying for VA health care at the event are advised to bring a photo ID, financial information from the previous calendar year, and a copy of their discharge papers (Form DD-214), if available. They can access the enrollment application online at https://www.vets.gov/health-care/apply/ or obtain a copy at the event.

For more information about this free event for veterans, please call the Community Outreach Office for the VA Maryland Health Care System at 1-800-949-1003, extension 6071. .
