New Mental Health Associate Chief Nurse Executive Named for Perry Point VA Medical Center

(Perry Point, Md.) - Marion Hall, MS, RN, has been appointed the new Associate Chief Nurse Executive for the Mental Health Clinical Center at the Perry Point Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, a division of the VA Maryland Health Care System. Hall previously served as the local recovery coordinator at the Perry Point VA Medical Center.

As Associate Chief Nurse Executive for Mental Health, Hall is responsible for nursing practice administration, staffing and operations in mental health, and for the provision of high quality customer-focused, cost-effective patient care.

“I am excited to learn and participate in an ever-changing VA at a different level of responsibility,” Hall said. “I aim to be a leader in Veteran satisfaction.”

Hall has 36 years of VA experience, including nursing management for acute and sustained mental health, chronic long-term care and nursing staffing. She also is experienced in risk management, discharge planning and nursing education.

Hall is a native of Virginia, but attended school in Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Coppin State College. She also has a master of science with a concentration in Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
