Become a fan! 
The VA Maryland Health Care System launched its Facebook and Twitter pages in April 2010 and in less than one year has more than 970 Facebook fans and over 550 Twitter followers.

Being a fan of the VA Maryland Health Care System will allow you to share experiences, give “shout outs” to your favorite doctors and nurses, and react to and be part of a discussion about topics posted on the fan page.  It is also a good place to quickly and easily find information and important telephone numbers.

If you aren’t on Facebook already, go to www.facebook.com and create your own account.  Once you’ve created your account, look for the VA Maryland Health Care System page and become “like” our page!

Follow us on Twitter!
Twitter enables the VA Maryland Health Care System to send and read messages—known as tweets—directly to subscribers, called followers.  These tweets go directly to a followers’ Twitter account or their cell phone as text messages.

There are several ways to follow the VA Maryland Health Care System on Twitter:
