The Fort Howard VA Outpatient Clinic opened in 2002 to offer general outpatient care, preventive health and education services, various medical screenings and referrals to specialized programs available throughout the VA Maryland Health Care System.

The clinic is an 8,700 square foot modular building that currently sits on a 94-arce campus, which includes the former Fort Howard VA Medical Center.

Staffing:
3 providers (2 physicians and 1 physician assistant)
3 clerks
5 nurses
9 part-time specialty care staff (including mental health, pulmonary, podiatry, social work, dietitian, and arthritis)
1 site manager
