Whether you tweet, post or just hit the send button, the VA Maryland Health Care System has a communication method for you to be in the know. Veterans, their family members and friends can receive up-to-the-minute news on VA health care, services, programs and events by following the VA Maryland Health Care System on Twitter, becoming a friend on Facebook or receiving emails as a subscriber to our E-News subscription list. 

Subscribe to E-News

The VA Maryland Health Care System’s E-News is a free service offered to provide you with the latest changes and happenings throughout the Department of Veterans Affairs and the VA Maryland Health Care System directly to your email address.

You can subscribe to the E-News service by visiting the VA Maryland Health Care System’s website at: www.maryland.va.gov and entering your email address under “Connect with the VA Maryland Health Care System” on the right side of the webpage. When you get to the E-News Subscribe page, just follow the step-by-step directions. Your e-mail information will be kept private and will not be made available to other Federal agencies or outside organizations. You can also unsubscribe from E-News at any time. 

If you do not have an e-mail address, you might want to have a family member or friend enroll for the E-News subscription service so they can share the information with you.

Become a Facebook Friend

Facebook can serve as a great way to keep in touch with friends, family and organizations. The VA Maryland Health Care System Facebook page boasts more than 5,000 friends and regular updates of interest to Maryland’s Veterans, including photos, events, and VA health care program updates. Being a friend of the VA Maryland Health Care System will allow you to share experiences, give “shout outs” to your favorite doctors and nurses, and be part of a discussion about topics posted on the page. It is also a good place to quickly and easily find information and important contacts.
