Eligibility for VA dental benefits is based on specific guidelines and differs significantly from eligibility requirements for other types of VA health care.  In general, dental benefits are limited to dental conditions determined by VA to be service-connected, as well as for Veterans who were Prisoners of War, and Veterans who are receiving 100% service-connected disability compensation.
