Tinisha Agramonte Appointed as Equal Employment Opportunity Manager for
VA Maryland Health Care System
Baltimore – Tinisha Agramonte, a Perry Hall resident, was appointed the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Manager for the Veterans Affairs (VA) Maryland Health Care System effective January 20, 2008.
Agramonte has over 15 years of civil rights, EEO management and associated career field experience. This is Agramonte’s first position with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Prior to accepting the position with the VA Maryland Health Care System, Agramonte was the EEO Manager for the U.S. Army Chemical Material Agency. In addition, she taught diversity and multicultural concept theories and principles part time at Chapman University at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
“I have an opportunity to pay homage to our nation’s veterans by taking care of the VA employees who care for them, “ Agramonte said after accepting her new position. “The EEO program plays a vital role in ensuring our employees work in an inclusive environment void of barriers so they can excel and realize their full potential, which ultimately enables them to effectively carry out the mission of caring for our nation’s veterans.”
Agramonte received her mass communications degree from the California State University, Hayward, and completed her graduate degree in human relations at the University of Oklahoma.
