Veterans who need medical advice will soon be able to contact the Telephone Care Line for the VA Maryland Health Care System 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Beginning January 8, 2008, the Telephone Care Line will be available to provide round the clock medical advice to veterans thanks to a new contract with the Bronx VA Medical Center. Currently, the Telephone Care Line is only available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The number for the Telephone Care Line will remain the same during the transition process, which is being implemented to better serve your health care needs.
