Veterans in Anne Arundel County Gain Better Access to VA Health Care

Thanks to a new and expanded location, veterans living in Anne Arundel County now have access to improved services at the Glen Burnie VA Outpatient Clinic. Located at 808 Landmark Drive, Suite 128 in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the new 10,200 square foot facility features additional exam rooms, a comfortable patient waiting area and state-of-the-art medical technology.

The clinic offers veterans access to quality outpatient care in their own community, including mental health, optometry, podiatry, audiology and preventive health and education services. In addition to the services offered at the clinic, veterans also have access to all of the specialized health care programs and services available throughout the VA Maryland Health Care System.

Some of the major goals of the new Glen Burnie Clinic are to:

  • Enhance customer service related to the delivery of primary care
  • Serve lower income veterans who have been unable to utilize VA health care due to access barriers
  • Improve case management for veterans in Anne Arundel County
  • Enhance activities to promote health and monitor chronic diseases
