One reason that the VA ranks higher in these areas is because we hold ourselves to a high level of performance. For instance, the VA Maryland Health Care System regularly mails patient satisfaction surveys to many veterans. With these surveys, any question answered less than excellent is considered unacceptable. Only excellence is acceptable for our veterans and their families.
