As Chief of Staff for the VA Maryland Health
Care System, Dr. Snow is responsible for
coordination and supervision of the following
clinical functions/services: Managed Care
Clinical Center, Surgical Care Clinical Center,
Medical Care Clinical Center, Mental Health
Care Clinical Center, Extended Care Clinical
Center, Dental Care Clinical Center, Pathology & Laboratory
Medicine, Imaging Services, GRECC, Research & Development,
Education & Academic Affiliations, Patient
Safety/Risk Management and Accreditation & Performance
Improvement. Dr. Snow is an integral part
of the management team, working closely with
the Medical Center Director and Associate
Directors to plan, organize, and oversee
the high quality of care provided to patients.
Born April 26, 1955, Dr. Snow received her
undergraduate education at Dartmouth College
and her medical degree from the University
of Maryland School of Medicine. Her internship
and residency in internal medicine were completed
at the University of Maryland Hospital and
the Baltimore VAMC. She completed her preventive
medicine residency and received her M.P.H.
from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene
and Public Health.
Dr. Snow serves as the Associate Chief of
Staff for Education & Academic Affiliations
and Clinical Operations. Dr. Snow is a Diplomat
in Internal Medicine, and Epidemiology & Preventive
Medicine. She is an Associate Professor at
the University of Maryland School of Medicine
in the departments of Medicine and Epidemiology
and Preventive Medicine.
