Important information about clinic appointments

Clinic appointments are pre-scheduled outpatient visits. You should make every effort to keep your scheduled appointment. We are working very hard to make clinic appointments available with little to no waiting times for our patients. A key part of reducing wait times is having the clinic appointment slots used in an efficient manner. As a patient, you are responsible for notifying the appropriated clinic if you cannot keep a scheduled clinic appointment. "No-shows" waste appointment slots that other patients could use. Therefore, if you must reschedule your appointment, please call the appropriate outpatient clinic to request another appointment.

When reporting for your clinic appointments, we ask that you check in no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time – unless you were requested to come in earlier for pre-appointment testing. Every effort will be made to see you in a timely manner according to your scheduled clinic appointment.
